When your cartridge heaters are more than eight inches long with watt densities less than 65 watts per square inch, medium-watt density cartridges can be used as an alternative. In the center of a ceramic core, these cartridge heaters have a resistance wire which makes them equally efficient and power-packed performers. In a way, medium-watt density cartridge heaters could prove themselves a tad better because every bit of them is as durable as a high-watt density heater; plus they possess fewer electrical connections on longer heaters (multi-core heaters).

Distributed Wattage
Nexthermal has built industry-specific winding profiles that help improve thermal profiles for injection molding and rubber. In addition, we have also built OEM-specific winding profiles to recompense heater placement.
Moisture Resistance
Certain applications need to wash down as they have high humidity in the ambient air; in addition, they might also have machining oil nearby; for these apps, we can offer a build-to-order option that delivers moisture resistance to specific operating temperatures.
Removal Aids
We understand the pain you have during the removal of a heater; hence, we offer knock-out tabs and other removal aids to make the entire procedure easier and quicker. Knock-out tabs are advised when you install the heater in a through-bore which is prone to corrosion.
Right-angle exit
Our specialized engineers have redesigned the right-angle exit with flat sides. This design helps use a wrench to accurately place lead exist and break oxidation bonds when the process of removing heaters is executed.
Right-angle block
The right-angle block possesses flat sides and is made from substantial materials to make its structure durable enough to fight rusting and diet casting (corrosiveness) so that the heater sheath is fused to the bore.
Flanges and NPT fittings
Certain applications require a specific depth of insertion and they must stand stationary. Our company has standard flanges for all diameters. For certain requirements, we also made special flanges for your applications just like NPT fittings can be opted for along with your tailored cartridge heater.
Anti-seize Coating
One of the common challenges while replacing a heater is that when it is highly durable and made from excellent quality materials. As a result of that, removing the heater would cost you dearly. Nexthermal provides you with anti-seize coating, the best option you can have without affecting delivery.
Centerless grind tolerance
Our standard tolerance of 0.002” proves to be superior to other cartridge heaters. In cases where heat transfer is crucial to your app, we have in our bag a premier centerless grid tolerance measuring +-0.0008”, and they are built to fit nominal cores.
